My 7 year old son, Toby, has been at Pegasus for about 8 months now. He is autistic with pathological demand avoidance and ADHD and has social and emotional difficulties. He has recently moved to the GymAbility class as he began struggling in Gymnastics For All due to how busy it was and his demand avoidance was becoming a major problem in the sessions. He is a very hyperactive child and can be very hard work at the best of times so I didn’t really think much of it then but he is a completely different child after GymAbility now, so calm and relaxed so I think the behaviour he was displaying before was due to how overwhelmed and overstimulated he had been getting (hence the demand avoidance in session). Since moving to GymAbility, he is back to absolutely loving it and looks forward to every session. Jake and Ollie are brilliant with him, as are the other helpers. I’ve already recommended Pegasus to many of Toby’s school friends (some of which have already joined the waiting lists) and will continue to recommend to anyone I can!

Such a great gymnastics club! They've recently had a 'gymnastics for all' competition and my 7 year old really enjoyed her first event experience. It was professionally run, the gymnasts were supported by their coaches and best of all the winners were awarded medals by inspirational country and international -level competitive athletes. My daughter really enjoyes all the activities and apparatus.

My daughter couldn't be happier to be back. They have spent £hn th's on making this venue Covid19 safe. With a fresh air ventilation system installed. One way entrance and exit. Changing classes to year group bubbles.. Its an amazing club. Would highly recommend.

After a lengthy wait to get my daughter into Pegasus, we were disappointed in the club and lack of direction or aim and have joined an alternative gym. Pegasus has a great reputation but it felt as though the focus was on kids in the competitive teams and the general classes went through the same motions week in and week out with no change up and no push to improve. My daughter was desperate to compete and having thought this was the natural progression I soon realised that the majority of children are not given this opportunity and will instead repeat the same circuit of activities every week for months at a time. My daughter started aged 7 and able to backwards walkover and achieve splits in each direction. After attending Pegasus for over a year, she had lost most of her flexibility, the ability to do the backwards walkovers and began to miss lessons through boredom. Within 3 weeks of joining an alternative school, she was able to perform an aerial (a skill that we were told she needed in order to compete, but Pegasus would not teach her) has joined their squad and placed Top 3 in her first competition. The improvement in her skills has been vast and she is flourishing. The teachers at Pegasus were all lovely, and the gym has brilliant equipment and layout, but for a child that was desperate to learn more and try new things Pegasus did not meet our expectations.

An awesome club with brilliant facilities. The staff are warm and friendly and have a great relationship with the members. Some of UK's best gymnasts - Courtney Tolloch and James Hall are coached there so I know that the club is cut about the rest.
